Ugh, I hate being behind schedule you guys. Good thing I'm not getting paid.
Guess what?! I'm 10 months old now! And some how, some way, my mama is still carrying me around in my car seat carrier. She's cray cray!
• Daddy dressed me on this particular day not knowing this outfit fit ohhhh, about three months ago. We went along with it as not to hurt his feelings. Plus it took him about ten minutes just to get it on me and I'm pretty sure none of us wanted to start that process over with.
• And yes, Daddy accidentally held the wrong side of the sign (we reuse only if I don't eat it) for the one smiling picture we got. He had to remind Mommy that it wasn't the end of the world.
• A recent developmental email sent to my mom said that my personality should really be emerging by now. (That's an understatement.) They pretty much described me - very social, granting broad smiles to everyone I meet (usually), and even tempered assessing the situation carefully before going further, or in my case, while staying in one place. I am also developing a mind of my own, just as they suggested I should be. Take meal times for instance...you never know what kind of mood I'll be in, but I'm showing signs of independence. Sometimes it just tastes better when I feed it to myself. And if I want more of something, I'll let you know with loud screaming.
• This whole personality thing just amazes my parents. They love seeing how different I am than Sissy was at my age. It's quite possible they are realizing how easy they had it with her. Don't get me wrong, I'm a pretty laid back guy myself, but I like to pull my dirty tray off my high chair flinging food everywhere. And as you know, I love to eat my signs. Mommy looked back at my sister's bi-weekly picture gallery and not ONE picture was of her eating or reaching for her sign. (Although I'm sure it happened in the outtakes.) Thankfully they know we're all made uniquely, which is super fun. I'm just happy to be here.
• So since I last posted, our family did survive the vicious stomach bug. It started with me, went to my Winnie, then Mommy, and then four days later when we thought it was gone for good, hit Daddy. I only got sick twice, so if we're keeping score, I really lucked out. Unfortunately I fell off mommy's bed the day before I got sick (boo) so there was a short time where they weren't sure if it was a bug or a concussion from the fall. Praising God it wasn't the later!
Public service announcement from my mom: DON'T PUT YOUR BABIES ON BEDS!
• I haven't said any real words yet, but you can bet I know what "milk" and "more" mean in sign language. Mommy swears I said "mamamamamamama" in the middle of the night while sleeping on her shoulder pre-burp though so she thinks I'm holdin' out on her.
• Just when you thought I couldn't get cuter, I've gone and added some cute new facial expressions to my bag of tricks.
I turn 46 weeks old this coming Sunday so stay tuned for back to back updates!
Hope you're having a wonderful week everybody.
Love,
Conrad
p.s. I weighed over 25 lbs when Mommy took me into be double checked after my tumble!
p.s.s Thought I'd share the video of my first attempt at holding the crawling pose. As you can tell, I had mixed feelings.

Love the PSA. I remember when Lucan rolled off the bed (the first time! yes, bad mommy let it happen again) and I was terrified that I had damaged Lu. I called the doctor and they said unless he blacked out, not to worry. Try telling that to a first time mom!
