Sometimes I win things and sometimes I don't, but it's worth a shot. And even if I don't win (b/c I'm sure I'll be one of thousands entering. Good luck to me!) her prices don't look too bad and the $10 off would come in handy. Tom will probably think spending money on a blog design when I only have 4 followers (and I love those followers!) is just ridiculous but c'mon Tom, it'd be so fun! (Side note: Sarah has not mentioned this idea to her husband.) Ok, I'm done posting about the giveaway so I'm already entered in the drawing once. If I want to be entered twice, I need to become a follower of her blog. To be entered three times I would have to also put a link to her blog on my sidebar and I don't know how to do that. I was proud of myself for figuring out how to add a counter and signature. Ha! To be entered four times you have to Tweet and I'm not even going there....(or I suppose write a facebook message about it, which would be doable but again - not so sure about that sidebar business.) Anyway, check out her contest if you're interested in a make over! From what I can see, she does some very "cool" work! Wish I had that talent. *smile

Yeah! I hope you win! If not, I can show you how to add templates which are free. My husband is an economist, so I am limited to buying blog things that are free. :)
ReplyDeleteTo add the link on the side, find the "I'm a fan" button on the side. Click inside the little box below it and select all the text (control a).
Then, paste it into "Add html" on your customize link, the same way you added your counter. Then you will get another entry!
Let me know if you run into any glitches!
Thanks, Sarah! But wouldn't that add it to the bottom of my blog rather than the side? Maybe it doesn't matter...
ReplyDeletei agree, sarah. i wish i could figure out how to make my blog all fancy and cool as well. i really screwed up on mine by changing text color so if i change the background color or re-do the style it sometimes it shows up, sometimes it doesn't. anyway, just remember...it is what is on the inside that really counts. :)
