$0 and milestones

No garage sales today as my husband reminded me that I haven't even used some of the things I've recently bought. I think his exact words were, "where is my sweater?" referencing this post.

Guess who turns 4 today?! THIS GUY! Happy birthday from Uncle Tom and Aunt Sarah, Grant! We love your hilarious and outgoing personality and can't wait to see you in 5 days. Sending you biiiig hugs from MN!

Also, Happy 1st Anniversary to my brother Brent and his wife, Sara! I can't believe it's already been one year since your wedding below. You guys bring out the best in one another and have MUCH to celebrate today. Congratulations! Love you both!

I met my smart, handsome, 6'6 marketing guru husband in college at Iowa State University. Having been friends before we started dating, I knew he was great husband/father material. We've been married since 2007, and he continues to amaze me with his patience, selflessness, drive and love for me, family and God. Whether traveling, cooking together in the kitchen, working in our garden, watching a movie or just filling each other in on our days - we are thoroughly enjoying life together. God knew best what we both needed when he brought us together, and He has continued to lead and guide us well.

Luther was born on March 10th, 2015 weighing in at 9 lbs (8 lbs, 15.8 oz if we're getting technical) and was 22.25" long. (They seem to be getting bigger each time...) He arrived at 10:19 am after an intense yet exciting 3 hour labor and water birth (they also appear to be getting shorter...). You can tell he's the third child since it's taken Mommy almost a year to even add him to the blog sidebar! Adding #3 has definitely been challenging, yet he has brought so much joy to all of us. He's definitely the most popular person in the house! We can hardly stand his cute baby ways, and we can not wait to see what the Lord has in store for our Lute.
