Well, hello there everyone! I hope this finds you fine and dandy. I've been pretty busy over here!
• My pictures this week do a great job of showing you all the different levels of smiles I offer. There's level one and then two and then three. Just when you think it doesn't get any bigger and wider, it does. Sometimes I like to even use my eyebrows and nose for just a touch of added cuteness. It's rare (and usually means I'm hungry or tired) when I'm not like this. Mommy says I'm one big flirt.
• I roll over like crazy now. (Diaper changes have gotten interesting.) Ya know, I always could roll over, but just chose not to exert the energy, but I'm finding it's actually a great way to get to different toys and explore new territory.
For the longest time, mommy would find me in my crib in the same exact position she left me so that's been a bit of a change as well. Thankfully I seem to be sleeping ok if I end up on my tummy.
• My new "official" rolling skills have really boosted my confidence so I'm working at pulling myself up on things as well. I probably have a few weeks to go before I am able to do it, but just to be safe daddy lowered my crib today.
• They try to get me in a crawling stance, but I really am not interested in that. At least not this week. One new trick at a time people.
• I do enjoy clapping now.
• I understand one word of sign language and that's "milk."
• Despite chronic back pain, mommy's really struggling with giving up my car seat carrier. At over 24 pounds, it's definitely time I move into a big boy car seat, but mommy admits she's selfish and doesn't want to give up the convenience of the carrier specifically for naps during morning outings. I'm up for whatever, but I'm not the one paying for chiropractic and acupuncture visits.
• Mommy and daddy took my 9 month pictures this weekend, and I nailed it. Absolutely nailed it. Here's just one of many pictures worth framing (in my humble opinion, of course)...
Caption: "Hey ladies. Anyone still looking for a 9-month-old Valentine? I am very squishy and sweet. Love, Conrad"
I work hard for that body you guys.
Well it's about two hours and twelve minutes past my bedtime, so I best be running. Thanks for stopping by though. I can't wait to see what the next two weeks hold!
Until then,
Conrad
