Hey guys! I'm 40 weeks old now, which means I just recently turned 9 months old. Man...time flies when you're having fun! Of course the 9 month mark gets my mom all nostalgic b/c it means I'm nearing my first birthday.
• I totally absolutely completely sleep through the night! I go to bed around 8ish and typically sleep until anywhere between 5:30 (on a bad day) and 7:15 (on a good day), nurse, and then sleep again until 8:30 or 9:00. I'm back to taking decent naps as well. Mommy says she feels like a new woman!
• I babble and talk and shout and you have no idea what I'm saying, but trust me it's important. Usually what I want is more food.
• I started giving the occasional kiss.
• Finally I get a break on the teeth cutting business. No new teeth to report for this post!
• Mommy recently bought me a pair of 12-18 month Gap pants and she's wishing she had gone up a size. It seems as though I am growing faster than a weed.
• I have a new baby cousin, Tenley Kay! She was born January 28th and I think she's very pretty and squishy. I can't wait for her to do more than sleep so we can play and go to the park together. I really love her.
• I continue to like to grab and eat my bi-weekly signs. Mommy says they didn't have this problem with Sissy. I'm thinking it's quite possible we have very different personalities. Here's calm and collected Sissy back in the day...
• We also have very different body types. According to Gwendolyn's 40-week post, she was weighting in at a whopping 17 lbs, 9 oz at her 9 month check-up.
Here are my 9 month stats:
Weight: 24 lbs, 9 oz - <98 p="">98>
Height: 30" - 98%
Head: 19 3/4" - <98 p="">98>
• My appointment went well and I barely fussed after getting my second flu booster. The doctor said I'm doing great and just need to work on my "problem solving skills." He also said I'm going to "need some momentum" to be able to sit up from laying down so mommy and daddy are working with me on a few things like standing up against things and bearing my own weight. Wish us luck!
Gotta run - it's family work out time. Mommy and daddy are experimenting with working out at home and possibly getting rid of their gym membership that they rarely use. They've asked me to be their coach. Not surprising with my large muscles.
Love each and every one of you,
Conrad
