Gwendolyn moved to her big girl bed (our guest bed/bedroom) and so we were finally able to put our new video monitor to use. I had no idea how much FUN this thing would be! Felt kind of weird at first to be able to watch her in her room, but it's come in handy many time especially those first few days when she was getting out. And the one random day she had to sleep in her crib at nap time because I was washing sheets. (I now know the exact method of crib exiting that she used. Sheesh.) We're able to talk through it, move the direction of the camera, and see clearly her every move. Including her bed acrobatics. Gets good around 1:25.
Ohhhh, my sweet Conrad Cross. You melt my heart over and over and over again. I could sit and talk and smile at you all day, but...there are things to be done so I can't. (Sigh.) But I would if I could b/c you crack me up and make me want 20 kids.
I think in addition to maybe having a teeny tiny twinge of hunger, you were also just plain bored. We had just returned from vacation where you were held and stimulated all day, every day so I'm sure coming home to just your mom was pretty lame. Thankfully you seem to have forgotten and think I'm cool again.
I love that she praises God on her own and just for fun.
If you can't understand her, she's saying...
My God is so BIG!
So strong and so mighty, there's nothing my God can not do.
For you and you and you.
The mountains are His. The rivers are His. The stars are his handiwork too.
There's nothing my God can not do.
For you and you and you.
Yayyyy!
She got the gist of it *smile.
I love these kiddos!!
