Conrad's newborn portraits...

Tom reminded me that Conrad is approaching 3 months and that I still needed to share his newborn portraits. Ahhhh! 3 months?! It's only July 7th (happy birthday, Weston Ronald!) so I'm not thinking that far ahead. But yes, I agree I need to share the pictures of our precious boy!


He's 10 weeks old now and growing and changing very quickly - it's so bittersweet because I love the newborn stage, but am so excited to see how his personality develops over the next months. He's very different from his sissy, which keeps life so interesting and full of surprises. I love that!

It took three different sessions within the first 11 days to get all of these, but I'm thankful we persevered and that we have an awesome brother-in-law (John...seriously, what would we do without you?!) willing to come over on a Saturday morning to take family pictures for us. Being your own family's photographer is definitely stressful - and Conrad definitely didn't go easy on me - but all the time, sweat, and tears (so emotional those first two weeks!) was worth it to have these pictures for years to come.

There is something extra challenging and rewarding about taking pictures of your own children. So thankful that my hubby knows as much if not more about photography and we can work together. He's the best assistant in the world and even better that he works for free!

I love that he still resembles these pictures. Just a chubbier, more filled-out version *smile.
