....says Conrad Cross Barntsen. Who slept from 10:30 pm to 6:15 am last night after his first day at daycare yesterday.
Seriously?!
Did that just happen?!
Perhaps in honor of daddy's 30th birthday, Conrad more than slept through the night. He absolutely dominated it. What a baby!
He woke up and nursed around 6:30 and then we both fell back asleep for awhile. Here he is around 8:00 am still snoozing away while I went and got ready quickly. Un.be.lievable. Now, I'm realistic and totally not banking on that happening again anytime soon, but I'm still so impressed and love him ohhhhsomuchithurts.
I'm not surprised he was so tired. He was off to a great start at Miss Kathy's when I chatted with her around noon - he had taken 3 oz of milk, slept 45 minutes in the crib and another 30 minutes in her arms. However, when we picked the kiddos up at 5, it was a different story. She said he really struggled taking the bottle and wouldn't sleep unless he was being held. In Conrad's defense, he loves to be swaddled and she had attempted to put him down not swaddled (it was hot) AND I just don't think he was hungry. Oddly enough, he only took about 4 oz the entire day, which seems totally weird, but if he's not hungry and I try to feed him, he gets mad and yells at me too.

Hopefully today goes better because Tom and I are off to Valley Fair to celebrate his 30th birthday!! So pumped! It's gorgeous out and it'll be nice to just be together and talk and scare ourselves to death on Steel Venom.
Already a great day!!
Off to put on my sunscreen.....
