Oh June, where did you go?
In the blink of an eye, you were anything but slow.
You left behind many cute pics to remember you by.
And already so much fun has been had in July!
----------------------------------------
We loaned our papasan chair to Lukey Do and so Gwendolyn was pretty pumped to have it home. She was never a big fan of it as she much preferred to be held. How dare we put her down and try to get things done!
THEN
May 3rd, 2011:
NOW
June 2nd, 2012:
We helped Margie celebrate her 30th birthday at a restaurant in St. Paul. Remember when the four girls were so itty bitty?! Now they are old enough to not want to share red straws...
Love these four girls! And in BIG news - both Margie and Amanda are expecting and due in November! Will there be SIX girls?! How stinkin' adorable would that be?!
Pink and sandals are in. And per usual, our daughter was the only one not smiling.
We decided on a random Sunday afternoon to totally redo our rock bed. Tom worked his buns off for hours, and it looks great with wood chips now instead of rock. We replaced some of the plants and moved things around. I can already tell that our
hydrangea is much happier in the shade. Maybe she'll bloom for the first time after 4 years.
I love that she loves to sit on my lap. If I'm on the floor with her, she's all over me.
Nathan David turned ONE!
Cake/frosting hair.
Gwendolyn was more excited about his presents than I think Nathan was.
Here's our attempting to get a picture of a big brother and little sister and their one year old's...
Take one:
Take two (maybe outside with balloons will work):
Take three:
Take four:
Take five:
Ok, we give up.
Finally got one with at least Nathan inside!
Who needs toys when you have an empty box and mommy's old stuffed animal, Kris Kringle. Anyone remember him?!
What would we do without adorable summer dress hand-me-downs from big cousin Brooke!
Loving our new bike trailer.
(I also find it hilarious that she's wearing pants, socks, and a jacket for an evening bike ride in June when it's currently 92 degrees.)
Trisha's shower:
Brooke and Grant were having a dance party in the rain...I need to post the video that accompanies this picture.
She wasn't sure what to think of baby cousin Luke at first, but now she finds him hilarious.
(Father's Day 2012)
Cuddles with Aunty Trishy.
My side-kick and best girl.
We spent a weekend near Brainerd recently while I shot a wedding. The hotel had a great kiddie pool so we got our swim on several times. I'll never get sick of seeing her in a swimmin' suit. The belly. The thighs. It's all too much.
Pretty sure this is the only time daddy will allow a two-piece *smile.
I got lazy with taking pictures on my "good camera" in June apparently. I had 7 shoots last month alone, so sometimes it's nice to just have the flash go off and not have to edit. Ha. Add in our camping adventure and the wedding shower of the year and it was a busy month!
Off to play with bears and miniature dogs and have lunch (she just woke up) and run to the bank. Have an awesome weekend!
