Do I look like a 6 month old to you? Because that is exactly what I am now!
• I tried solids for the first time. If we're being super honest, my first taste of food was pistachio fudge shipped all the way from Portland, Maine. (I was really eyeing what daddy was eating, and he caved.) It was yuuummy. Much better than tart applesauce and cold carrots. Bananas are weird too. Avocado was just so so. More fudge, please.
• I can sit up! I tip over eventually, but when positioned just right, I can do it all by myself for a good amount of time.
• I still don't consistently roll over though. I get really close, but change my mind at the last second.
• This cutting teeth thing is not easy. One day I'm happy as a clam and the next I have my fussy pants on.
• Mommy says I'm an awesome sleeper. In fact, just last week I had five nights in a row that I slept until 6:00 something. Last night it was until 5:30. Most mornings I sleep in until close to 9:00. Mommy usually has to wake me up on the days we go to Miss Kathy's house because she stops serving breakfast at 9:00 and we don't want Sissy to go hungry!
• Speaking of Sissy...boy, do I love her. She sometimes loves me a bit too much, but most of the time she makes me smile and I can't wait until we can play together. She loves to pet my head and hug and kiss me.
• I'm finally big enough to sit up to the table in the highchair so I get to join the family for meals now! I like to add what I can to conversations.
• Believe it or not, I now wear the same size diaper as Sissy. No more leaks, which means less mess and laundry for Mama. I think she's happy.
• I will be totally fine and happy and then if I see my mommy (like if she's been gone at a shoot or the grocery store) and she doesn't pick me up....well, I just don't really like that. I much prefer to be held, but apparently they say this isn't always feasible. I just like to know everybody is close by.
• I'm well into 6-9 month clothes with most things being a bit short in the arms and legs already. I think I'll try to bring high waters back.
Well tonight is Halloween! I'm looking forward to checking out this trick or treating business. I hope I get some fudge!
Talk to you later.
Love,
C-Cross
