Multitude Monday

holy experience
Counting my way to 1,000 blessings...

#611...clean floors.
#612...falling back asleep quickly after getting up in the middle of the night.
#613...kisses on the forehead.
#614...newborn diapers.
#615...getting acquainted with our new small group.
#616...a haircut after 7 months - loooove those head massages and Aveda tea....
#617...daily calls at work from the hubby just because he misses me.
#618...taking every day one at a time because we don't know what tomorrow holds.
#619...choosing joy.
#620...listening to Tom sing and talk to the baby at night.

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. -
John 16:33

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,

When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul....

  1. I decided to only visit one site from Ann's tonight and here I am. I love your write up in "about me". And your bunny. So sweet. Been there (chewed chords and all).
    I also LOVE aveda head massages AND the TEA! doesn't it all just smell like vacation? ;)
    and choosing joy. good for you!
    Well, i'm going to look around and read you a bit. Hopefully this comment will work... it is my second try. :)
    Be blessed.
    OH, and I think your baby is a boy. which means it is ABSOLUTELY a girl, because I'm always wrong about that.

  2. And so it’s Wednesday and now there are all the Walk with him Wednesday posts to read – but I’m not done with Multitude Monday quiet yet :)

    My favorite “thank you” from yours list today was: #619...choosing joy. (because it’s so so true – it’s not what happens to us that counts – it’s how we respond – and to respond in joy – that’s the thing) {smile}

    This was kind of a joy to read today. Thank you. (◠‿◠)

  3. Choosing Joy! My favorite for today! Here I am so late in the week. It's been hard to get around to read everyone's lists. But I must say it is such a blessing to do that! I just loved the sonogram picture on the right!!! Such a miracle! I could feel your love and peace in your post today, and I thank you for that! It's been a blessing to be here on an early Sunday morning!
