Disc Golf

You may remember Jamie and Diedra from my post about our first ever climbing experience (which has also sadly been our last. There is, however, no correlation between that and how much fun we had.)

A couple weeks ago, they decided to introduce us to disc golf. We're (almost usually) up for anything! While Tom and I were attempting to buy our golf passes, we struck up a conversation with Rob, the shop guy. We told him we had never played, which lead him to feel badly for us especially since we had chosen one of the hardest courses in Minnesota (Jamie and Diedra didn't know.) SO he not only didn't make us pay (which is awesome b/c we only made it six of 24 holes...) but he gave us FOUR discs that had been waiting to be claimed in the lost and found for over a year. Rob - you're such a great guy! I love it when people make my day.

After disc golf we had a wonderful dinner back at thier place and were just able to catch up on life. Jamie and Diedra are amazing friends, and we value their thoughts, opinions and genuine love and concern for us.
So glad they're in our lives! Wonder what interesting adventure we'll do with them next *smile.
